What is scrip?
Scrip is just another term for gift cards. Scrip fundraising is an easy, no-selling program that allows families to raise money for PTO by using gift cards to pay for everyday purchases. PTO buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. You get dollar for dollar what you pay. The discount—from 2% to 15% or more—is $$ for the PTO to support school activities.

How do you participate?
There are two ways to order scrip gift cards. You can use the order form which is available at left (click to download and print). Fill out the order form and send it with check to school with your child in an envelope marked “PTO/scrip.”
You can also order online at www.shopwithscrip.com. Our enrollment code is 774ED67C617L. The advantage to ordering online is that you will be able to see the most up-to-date list of vendors. The ShopWithScrip website does not take credit cards. You will print out your order and send it to school with payment in an envelope marked “PTO/scrip.”
When are orders placed?
Orders are placed twice a month—on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. Gift cards are delivered by Friday of the same week.
